Haha, this is our (University of Houston) President, Dr. Renu Khator. She confronted two kids wearing University of Texas shirts at the UH vs Texas State game. Supposedly they were behaving poorly, and our President had to tell them something.
At one point UH students started yelling, “UT SUCKS, UT SUCKS!” and apparently one of the UT kids got in a fight because of it and got kicked out! Also, I heard he got covered in red paint! Haha! Cougars!
The game was pretty awesome though! We won 68-28! There was a HUGE turnout! Bigger than the UH vs Texas Tech game! We had 32,119 people show up! It was the largest crowd to watch a game at Robertson Stadium! I know that may not seem like a lot compared to games in the Big 12, but for UH it’s a lot. Even for the first game! We also made a new record with a 16 home game winning streak!
Next game is this coming Friday, September 10. We’re playing UTEP! We lost to them last year. That game put us down in the rankings.. So, this game is going to be pretty insane! Can’t wait!
